A geographical location is a powerful starting point for uncovering new knowledge and promoting new perceptions regarding the archaeological,(art) historical and heritage dimensions of society. Our team seeks to integrate geospatial approaches – as well as other approaches to data-management, analysis and visualisation – with Spatial Digital Humanities methods that are capable of generating such knowledge and perceptions.
The history and heritage is a dynamic team and welcome students, researchers and professionals from various disciplinary backgrounds and at all stages of their careers to think with us about opportunities to develop and deploy spatial digital humanities methods. Ultimate goal is always to maximise the added value of these methods to (applied) humanities research. Our team has the conceptual and technical knowledge of both the humanities and the spatial digital methods to guide this process.
